| Cubes, fragment of a life, create immortal mosaic images larger than life. As our eyes create the myth, the reality in the center is diminished. We return to her painted image, and unsatisfying Venus beneath a troubled sky. Fragile, leaf-like fragments fall from her, blown by the same gust that extinguishes the candles. The clear black and white cubes changes to the burnt colors of the twin mosaics as we complete the center idol. |
