| Like "Second Guessing First Impressions", an inspection of the cruelty of lust. The salivation wolf's face and the devouring snake-like creature are an attack on the dove-like girl. Amid phallic candlelight, exotic drinks, and in lurid colors, the encounter happens in what seems to be a stereotypical romantic setting. The background is peaceful but also primeval. The drama is crowned by Burlini's familiar classical arches and column. |
